1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Get Postd website and when you buy or use any Get Postd digital product. Get Postd is a brand of SYOS, operated by SYOS by SS FZC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under trade licence number 4432672.01 issued by Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority, with its registered address at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Tax Registration Number: [Tax Registration Number (TRN), if applicable].
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SYOS by SS FZC. “You” means the person or business using the website or buying a product.
By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Digital Product Licence, our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and you confirm you have read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please read them before you buy.
Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement. If any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, those rights apply.
2. Contacting us
You can contact us at [Support email address]. We aim to reply as soon as we reasonably can. [TO CONFIRM: any published support response time.]
3. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to place an order. If you buy on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that business. [TO CONFIRM: whether purchases are offered to consumers and businesses alike, and any countries the business will not sell to.]
4. Our products
We sell digital products only. Nothing physical is shipped. Our products currently include:
- Content plans: 30-day social media content plans delivered as downloadable PDF files.
- Canva template packs: delivered as a PDF or access guide containing links that let you open a copy of each template in your own Canva account.
We try to describe and show each product accurately. Images on the website are illustrations and may show sample content; your file may differ slightly in layout or presentation, but it will match the description in all material respects.
5. Prices and payment
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- When you buy, you buy from Paddle, and Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) also apply to the payment. These terms continue to govern your use of our products.
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Paddle calculates and adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and the checkout shows the final amount before you pay.
- Your bank or card provider may charge currency conversion or international transaction fees. These are set by them, not us.
- Your payment details are entered on Paddle's secure checkout and are handled by Paddle. We never see or store your full card details.
- If we make an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after you have paid.
6. How your order is formed
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract between you and us is formed when your payment is successfully completed and we send (or display) confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if we suspect fraud, the product is unavailable, or there is an error in the listing.
7. Delivery and access
- After payment, we send an email to the address you gave at checkout with a secure access link to a protected download page.
- Delivery is normally automatic shortly after payment, but email delivery can be delayed or filtered as spam. If you have not received your email, check your spam folder, use the access recovery page on our website, or contact us.
- Your access link is personal to you. Do not share it. Anyone with the link may be able to access your purchase, and sharing it breaches the licence.
- Please download your files and save copies of your Canva templates to your own account promptly. [TO CONFIRM: how long access links and download pages remain available.]
- If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, access to the related download page ends.
8. Immediate delivery and your cancellation rights
Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, in many countries the usual right to cancel an online purchase ends once delivery starts, provided you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose that right. [TO CONFIRM: add a consent and acknowledgement step at checkout before relying on this.] Full details, including when refunds are available, are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
9. Your licence to use our products
When you buy a product you do not buy the copyright or other rights in it. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it as set out in our Digital Product Licence. In short: you may use the plans and templates to create content for your own business and social channels, but you may not share, resell, redistribute or upload them anywhere, or resell the templates as templates, even if edited.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the website and in our products, including text, plans, prompts, hooks, guides, PDF files, layouts, Canva template designs, graphics, branding and the Get Postd name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws in the UAE and internationally. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, publish or exploit any of it except as allowed by our licence or by law.
We may take action to protect our rights, including issuing takedown notices and ending access for anyone who breaches the licence.
11. Canva and other third-party services
Canva is a third-party service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Canva. To use our templates you need your own Canva account, and your use of Canva is governed by Canva's own terms of use and content licence, which you must follow. Some elements may only be available with a paid Canva plan such as Canva Pro. Canva controls which features and elements are available, and may change, restrict or remove them at any time. We do not guarantee that Canva, or any element within a template, will remain available or free. We are not responsible for Canva's service, availability or terms. See the licence for more.
The same applies to other third parties you use with our products, such as social media platforms. Their rules and terms apply to your use of them.
12. No guaranteed results
Our products give you ideas, structure and guidance. They are educational and general in nature, and are not tailored professional, legal, financial or marketing advice. Results depend on many things outside our control, including your industry, audience, effort, consistency and the platforms' algorithms. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including followers, reach, engagement, leads, bookings, sales or income. Any examples are illustrations only.
13. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you create and publish using our products. In particular, you are responsible for making sure that it:
- is accurate and not misleading, and complies with advertising, consumer protection and disclosure rules that apply to you;
- complies with the rules of each platform you post on;
- does not infringe anyone else's rights, including in any photos, music, logos or text you add; and
- complies with UAE media and content laws, and the laws of any other country where you publish.
14. Using the website
You must not misuse the website. This includes trying to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping or bulk-downloading content, using automated tools to access protected pages, or using it for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
15. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you.
Subject to that:
- Our products are provided for use in your business and to help you create content. We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or followers, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- We are not liable for losses caused by third-party services we do not control, including Canva, Paddle, email providers and social media platforms, or by events outside our reasonable control.
- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. [TO CONFIRM: liability cap.]
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, to the extent required by the law that applies to you.
16. Suspension and ending access
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms or the licence (for example, by sharing or reselling our products), we may end your licence and your access to download pages, without a refund to the extent the law allows. Clauses that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, liability and governing law) continue after the licence ends.
17. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of hosting, payment, email or third-party services. If this happens we will tell you where we can and take reasonable steps to limit the effect.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in our products. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. The courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction. [TO CONFIRM: emirate and courts, including whether a free zone court (such as DIFC or ADGM courts) or arbitration applies.]
If you are a consumer living outside the UAE, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also be able to bring a claim in the courts of that country. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally.
20. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another business, as long as this does not reduce your rights.
- These terms, together with the documents referred to in them, are the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase.
- [TO CONFIRM: whether an Arabic version is required, and which language prevails if there is any conflict.]
